2018 US Flags Forever First Class Postage Stamps

Where the 2017 flag is still, the 2018 one is moving. The design catches the fabric mid-snap, and it was built digitally - brushes and layers rather than paint on canvas - which is why the edges are cleaner and the color is more saturated than the year before. Put the two side by side and the shift in method is obvious, which is part of why people collect the flag issues by year.

For mail it does the same job any flag stamp does, with a slightly more energetic tone: business correspondence, civic and veterans' organization mailings, membership renewals, patriotic-season cards. Sold in booklets, rolls and sheets, so you can match the format to how you actually apply them - rolls if you are stamping a run at a desk, booklets if they live in a drawer. Forever value, one ounce at whatever the current rate is.
