Garden Delights Forever Stamps

Spring flowers, shown with the wildlife that comes with them - which is the distinction worth drawing here. A garden stamp usually shows a bloom on its own; this set treats a garden as a working habitat, with the birds and insects that depend on it in the frame. After a long winter the first flowers are the point of the year for gardeners, and they are also the point at which the whole system starts up again.

It suits garden club and horticultural society mail, seed and nursery correspondence, and conservation groups writing to members. For general use it carries spring and Easter cards, thank-you notes after a visit, and birthday mail through the first half of the year. Sheets of 20. Forever value, so a sheet bought at an older rate covers a one-ounce letter today with nothing to add.
