One symbol on a white field: the United States Army Symbol, built around the Great Seal, with nothing else competing for the space. It marks 250 years since the Continental Congress raised the Continental Army in June 1775, more than a year before there was a country for it to belong to. The Postal Service issued it in 2025. The design decision worth noticing is the restraint - no flag, no soldiers, no eagle in flight, just the mark itself at full size.
That restraint is exactly why it works on official correspondence. Recruiting offices, veterans' organizations, reunion committees, base and post exchanges, and families writing to someone deployed all use it. It also carries condolence and commemoration mail, where a decorative stamp would be wrong. Sheets of 20, Forever value, so a sheet bought for the anniversary year still mails a letter at whatever the rate is when you get to it.

As a veteran I enjoy showing some identity by using special stamps. It is a small but a nice touch.
