Each design pairs a stony coral with the fish that live around it: elkhorn coral with two French angelfish, brain coral with a spotted moray eel, staghorn coral with bluestriped grunts, and pillar coral with a coney grouper and neon gobies. Tyler Lang made the art and Ethel Kessler was the art director. The Postal Service issued them in 2019. The pairing is the point - a reef is an address, not a decoration, and each panel shows who lives there.
Read the word POSTCARD printed on the stamp before you buy. These are priced at the postcard rate, not the letter rate, currently 65 cents against 82 cents for a one-ounce letter. On a postcard that is the correct and cheaper stamp; on a sealed envelope it is short postage and the card comes back. Used properly they are the obvious choice for holiday cards from the coast, aquarium and dive shop mailings, and anyone sending a stack of cards home from a trip. Sheets of 20.

One of my favorite recent postcard stamp designs. Great stamps for amazing value.
Appreciate the actual post card pricing as other stamp cos have a blanket price for all forever 1 oz letter stamps. These stamps are affixed to post cards going to folks in need of healing, a kind word and encouraging prayer.
