Five lighthouses, one per design, each from an original acrylic painting: Montauk Point in New York, Thomas Point Shoal in Maryland, Harbor of Refuge in Delaware, Navesink in New Jersey and Erie Harbor in Pennsylvania. They continue a lighthouse series the Postal Service has returned to on and off for decades. The paintings are handled straight - no weather drama, no gulls, just the structure and the light. Sold as a sheet of 20, four of each design.
Two groups buy these and they barely overlap: collectors filling out the lighthouse series, and people along the Atlantic coast who like putting a local landmark on their mail. Historical societies and coastal chambers of commerce use them for member mailings, and they are a quieter choice than a flag for everyday letters. Erie Harbor is the outlier in the group, standing on a Great Lake rather than the Atlantic.

The stamps finally arrived. I received email and/or text that my stamps had been delivered. The stamps had not been delivered. I spent 2 or 3 days trying to communicate with the email/texts to get my stamps or a refund. Finally the stamps did arrive. On the day of the arrival, I did receive a communication asking if I wanted the stamps send or a refund. The issue is that I was notified that they had delivered the stamps when they had not delivered and I had to send my time trying to track the stamps.
Lighthouses, their storied histories in novels, movies and visits have always fascinated me.
