It is a wedding stamp before it is anything else. RSVP envelopes, save-the-dates, thank-you cards, and the invitations themselves when they are light enough to go at the one-ounce rate. Valentine's mail is the other standing use, and a red-and-white heart carries engagement announcements and anniversary cards without locking you into a season. Forever value means each covers a one-ounce letter at today's 82¢. A stuffed invitation suite usually crosses an ounce, so weigh one first - a two-ounce stamp is cheaper than two Forever stamps and looks better on the envelope.
