Holiday Baubles Forever First Class Postage Stamps

Four ornaments, one per design, drawn as flat, bright illustrations - orange, blue, green and striped baubles, each topped with a curling ribbon. The set is deliberately unspecific - no tree, no room, no snow, just the baubles themselves, which is what lets it sit on a card going to anyone. The Postal Service issues a contemporary holiday set most years alongside the religious one, and this is that slot.

Because nothing on the stamps is religious or dated, they carry a mixed Christmas card list without assuming anything about who is opening the envelope - the situation most businesses are in when they send seasonal mail to clients. Booklets of 20, and households working a full card list usually take several. The four ornaments repeat five times through the book, so you can send a set of four cards to one household without doubling up. Anything left over on 26 December keeps its full value: a Forever stamp is a one-ounce letter in March just as much as in December.
